PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a rubber composition for tires, whereby it becomes possible to improve discoloration resistance and the appearance of a tire while maintaining or improving a good low fuel consumption property and abrasion resistance; and a pneumatic tire produced using the rubber composition.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a rubber composition for tires, which contains a styrene butadiene rubber at a content of 30 to 100 mass% relative to 100 mass% of a rubber component, additionally contains a pluronic-type nonionic surfactant and sulfur, and additionally contains carbon black and silica at the total content of 20 to 140 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component. |
