PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element excellent in initial characteristics of photoelectric conversion efficiency, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion element includes a substrate, a first electrode, a photoelectric conversion layer in which a sensitizing dye is carried on a porous metal oxide layer, a solid charge transport layer, and a second electrode. The porous metal oxide layer is formed by being surface-treated with a solution containing an organometallic compound and a polar protic solvent. |
