PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage a sheet profile so that proper print is possible by coping with change of environment conditions even when the environment conditions change during image formation.SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus having: an image formation part which forms an image on a sheet based on image data; a storage part which stores a sheet profile as information relevant to image formation of the sheet; a detection part which detects an environment condition; and a control part which manages the sheet profile, and controls the image formation to the sheet by the image formation part based on the sheet profile, the sheet profile is managed so as to assign a plurality of setting values according to the environment condition to one item of any items included in the sheet profile, when the image is formed by the image formation part, the control part performs control so as to apply a setting value matching to the environment condition detected by the detection part regarding the item to which the plurality of setting values are assigned in the sheet profile. |
