PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing powdery solid cosmetics which can produce the powdery solid cosmetics compatible in usability and shock resistance without significantly reducing workability, while using water as a volatile solvent.SOLUTION: A method for producing of powdery solid cosmetics of the invention comprises: preparing a slurry containing 7-15 parts by mass of an oily component, 85-93 parts by mass of a powder and a volatile solvent comprising 60-120 parts by mass of water (where, a total of the oily component and the powder is 100 parts by mass); obtaining cosmetic bulks by removing the volatile solvent from the slurry; and obtaining the powdery solid cosmetic by performing compression molding of a ground product of the cosmetic bulks.
