<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a compression-type pipe coupling which can be used for various kinds of pipes having an outer diameter within a specific range, reliably keep watertightness, easily and conveniently connecting strong and thick pipes such as metal and stainless pipes without welding or forming a thread portion using a screw machining tool, is easy to use to firmly connecting the pipes in a confined space. The compression-type pipe coupling of the present invention includes a connecting socket and a fastening socket which are made of metal and fitted on end portions of pipes, and a compressing assembly which is provided between the connecting and fastening sockets to fix the pipes and keep watertightness when the connecting socket and the fastening socket are coupled, wherein a compression inclined surface is formed at one end of the connecting socket, a packing protrusion is formed in the fastening socket, and compressing assembly is positioned in the fastening socket and fitted into the outer circumferential surfaces of the pipes between the compression inclined surface of the connecting socket and the packing protrusion of the fastening socket.</p> |
