摘要 The invention relates to a biofilter for wastewater digestion, comprising: an outer tank (1), a supply pipe (7) that extends to the centre of the tank (1) through a sealed upper inner tank (8) having peripheral openings (22) at a height lower than that of the supply pipe (7), and a discharge pipe (19). The aforementioned supply pipe (7) includes a T-branch (11) in which one arm (12) extends to the cover (10) of the tank (1) and the other arm (14) extends downwards through a sealed lower inner tank (15) having peripheral openings (25, 16) in the upper and lower part of the wall. According to the invention, the biofilter comprises two packing sections, namely a lower section (17) having randomly distributed packing and an upper section (23) having packing formed by corrugated tube bundles. In addition, the biofilter includes a self-cleaning system consisting of an inclined duct (18) having a horizontal branch (20) with a valve (21) at the outer end thereof.

A bio-filter for the digestion of waste water which comprises an outer tank with an upper section vaulted or shaped like a frustum, which has projections shaped like triangular prisms in opposing points and distributed symmetrically around the tank, the acute angle of these projections protrudes from the center of the tank, the opposite end makes an angle of 90° which joins the upper section of the conical section or upper vault of the tank, which also has a second section which is a right cylinder and a third section which is vaulted downwards or is an inverted frustum in the lower part which also has a cylindrical section at the bottom; the tank also has a feeding tube which reaches up to the center of the tank passing through an inner upper tank with the shape of an inverted bucket closed on its upper and lower faces, with openings placed along the perimeter at a height lower than the feeding duct, a discharge tube whose diameter is smaller than the diameter of the feeding duct and whose placement is in the opposite position and at a lower height than that of the feeding duct. The feeding duct in turn has a “T” shaped shunt in a horizontal position where the upper arm extends to the lid of the tank and the second arm of the “T” extends downwards to the part with the lower conical section, going through a second inner and lower recipient where the feeding discharge is poured and where the lower tank is an object with the shape of an inverted bucket or inverted frustum. The upper part of the container is closed, allowing only the feeding duct to pass. The container has openings along the perimeter of its upper wall to allow water to exit as well as openings in the perimeter of the lower part of its wall so that the entering water touches and then breaks up the sludge at the bottom of the container. The lower openings are the ones that allow the exchange of sludge to the outer part of the lower tank, causing the fragmenting and bio-feeding of the sludge, where the bio-filter has two packing bed sections: a lower section with the packing bed distributed at random and an upper section formed by tubular bundles with corrugated surfaces.
