CLOSET COLLAR ADAPTATIONS

Disclosed are various embodiments for providing a seal for a closet collar. A sealing assembly is positioned on a closet collar for a drain pipe. The sealing assembly may comprise a portion on which a sealing component is positioned. A toilet is positioned over the sealing assembly. The sealing assembly is compressed between the toilet and the closet collar, and a seal for the closet collar is formed.

1. An apparatus comprising:
an annular collapsible portion; a first lip extending radially outward from a first end of the annular collapsible portion; a second lip extending radially outward from a second end of the annular collapsible portion; a ridge extending from the annular collapsible portion configured to extend into a closet collar, where the annular collapsible portion, the first lip, the second lip, and the ridge comprise a unitary structure; and at least one flexible ring located in a recessed channel bordered by the first lip, the second lip, and the annular collapsible portion.
