A lighting apparatus is provided in which assembling work is simplified. A lighting apparatus 100 includes: an LED module 60; a heat sink 30 releasing heat generated by the LED module 60; a cover 50 covering the LED module 60; a cap 10; and an insulating member 20 located between the cap 10 and the heat sink 30. Further provided is a light source supporting body 40 having a locking part 44 locking into the heat sink so as to hold the LED module 60 on the heat sink 30. The cover 50 has a protruding part 51 fitting and locking into the light source supporting body 40 or the heat sink 30. In the insulating member 20, one end side has an inserted part 21 locking into the heat sink 30, and the other end side has a connection part 24 screwed into the cap 10.
