Disclosed are a method, apparatus and device for displaying the number of unread messages, which belong to the technical field of networks. The method comprises: acquiring a preset website list and logon information about preset websites in the preset website list; according to the logon information about the preset websites in the preset website list, detecting message update states of the preset websites in the preset website list; and when it is detected that the preset websites contain unread messages, according to the number of the unread messages, displaying the number of the unread messages of the preset websites on website logos corresponding to the preset websites. By acquiring the logon information about the preset websites, the message update states of various preset websites are detected, and the number of the unread messages of various preset websites are displayed, so that the present disclosure can prompt a user of the unread messages in time without the user's frequent logon, thereby preventing the user from missing the unread messages, and facilitating the user in managing and operating the unread messages of the preset websites. |
