<p>An emergency start power plant comprising a combusting engine (6) having a start motor, where the start motor is supplied with current from an energy source, said energy source consist of a quick charging and quick discharging electrical energy unit (1) that receives current from a charging unit (2) driven by muscular strength (effort). This muscular strength is provided by turning a cranking wheel (7). In a preferred embodiment the quick charging and discharging energy unit consist of a large capacitance capacitor. In this way it is possible to start up an emergency generator power plant very quickly and totally independent of other energy sources, such as batteries.</p> |
