The invention relates to technology of abrasive treatment of long-length articles and can be used in ceramic production. The invention is aimed at broadening technological abilities. The assigned task is characterized in that a device for treating long-length articles comprises guiding elements, a drive of translation movement of articles and a grinding tool. The guiding elements have a profile of a rectangular chute, the drive of the article translation movement comprises a chain drive with a driver fixed thereon and a pivotally arranged rod, the grinding tool is embodied as an elastic disk provided with radially-positioned abrasive petals, the ends of which facing the elastic disk center, mounted concentrically to the trajectory movement of an article being treated. The chute consists of two parts positioned on both sides of the elastic disk. The present device for treating long-length articles has some benefits, providing treating articles of an unlimited length, production output due to the maximum contact area of abrasive petals with the article being treated and to high abrasive tool durability without cooling fluid. |
