The present invention relates to a secondary battery. For example, provided is a secondary battery which includes an electrode assembly; a case which receives the electrode assembly; a cap assembly which includes a cap plate which covers the case, an inversion plate which is formed on the cap plate and is reversed when the internal pressure of the case exceeds a critical level, and an insulating plate which has one side connected to the inversion plate and the other side located in the upper part of the cap plate; and an electrode terminal part which includes a combination part which is electrically connected to the electrode assembly and a short member which is electrically connected to the combination part, has an elastic force toward the cap plate, and touches the upper part of the insulating plate. |
