<p>The present invention relates to a server monitoring service and, more particularly, to a server for providing a service for monitoring a server to be managed and a method thereof. The server includes: a data receiving unit configured to connect to at least one server to be managed to receive state information of the server to be managed; a data storage unit configured to store management items and management standards of the server to be managed, and the state information thereof received through the data receiving unit in each of the server to be managed; and an information providing unit configured to compare the management items and management standards of the server to be managed stored in the data storage unit with the state information thereof and to provide a predetermined user terminal with state information of at least one relevant server when predetermined items reach predetermined standards. The server for providing a service for monitoring a server to be managed and a method thereof proposed in the present invention may automatically check a state of a server to be managed using a server for providing a server monitoring service, which receives data from the server to be managed and communicates with a user terminal, independently of an administrator terminal, thereby managing at least one server more quickly and building sites safely. Moreover, a relevant information may be immediately provided to a user terminal with a push notice or the like when a failure occurs in a server to be managed in real time by previously setting management items and management standards and storing them in a data storage unit of the service providing server, and connecting them with an application program installed in a smart device of a user of the server to be managed.</p> |
