<p>The present invention relates to a system for purifying saline water and washing water for crops and a method for operating the same. The system for purifying saline water and washing water used in preserving crops such as a Chinese cabbage or a daikon in salt or washing the crops in a Kimchi factory, includes: a first filtering device (100) having 4 to 6 different filter medium layers (170) therein respectively formed of filter media having different specific gravities; a second filtering device (200) having 1 to 3 media layers (270) therein with different specific gravities; a disinfectant generator (300) generating germicidal ozone or antiseptic sodium hypochlorite to supply the germicidal ozone or antiseptic sodium hypochlorite in a predetermined amount; and a purifier (400) filtering out bacteria and viruses. The adsorptive deodorization, removal of turbidity and chromaticity, and disinfection of harmful materials including floating materials and suspended materials included in process water (saline water or washing water) are performed. Separation of the harmful materials adsorbed on the filter media layer is more simplified and rapidly performed through a drain step by a drain outlet and a backwash step by supplying backwash water. Since the saline water is maintained to have a constant concentration and reused, costs for expensive solar salt, and wastewater treating costs can be considerably reduced, thereby preventing not only environmental pollution but also reducing production costs for Kimchi.</p> |
