The present application relates to a substrate film, a laminate, or a method for manufacturing a polarizing film. According to the present application, provided are a substrate film which effectively manufactures a polarizing film having excellent polarizing performance and the like while having a thickness of approximately 10 micrometers or less, approximately 8 micrometers or less, approximately 7 micrometers or less, approximately 6 micrometers or less, or approximately 5 micrometers or less, a laminate, or a method for manufacturing the same. According to the method of the present application, the polarizing film can be manufactured by stretching a functional material for polarization such as a PVA-based rein in an easy manner while the polarizing film is prevented from being torn and curled when stretched. |
