FIELD: printing industry.SUBSTANCE: product comprises a paper or a polymeric carrier with a protective marking applied to the extended part or the entire surface of the carrier. The marking is applied as part of the adhesive layer between the inner layers of the multilayer product and is made using a crystalline inorganic compound which is characterized by the ability to absorb optical radiation at a certain wavelength range and capable of reversible change of the optical and/or magnetic characteristic typical for the present compound, which appears under the influence of pulsed infrared (IR) laser irradiation providing localized heating to the temperature of 330-700°K and disappears after removal of the exposure.EFFECT: increased protection level, providing the ability of automatic determining of authenticity.11 cl, 7 ex
