An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method and a system for transmitting and correcting real-time stereoscopic three dimensional (3D) video data. A temporal synchronization system of a stereoscopic 3D video according to one embodiment includes: a receiving unit to receive the stereoscopic 3D video; and a decoding unit to decode the stereoscopic 3D video, to record a frame loss related to left and right frames of the decoded stereoscopic 3D video, and to synchronize the left and right frames of the decoded stereoscopic 3D video using the decoded stereoscopic 3D video and the frame loss.
