The present invention relates to a wireless power transmitting apparatus which is formed to wirelessly transmit power to a wireless power receiving apparatus. Provided is the wireless power transmitting apparatus which includes: a first coil which is formed to convert a current to magnetic flux; a second coil which is arranged near the first coil on a flat surface; a third coil which is formed with a shape which is different from the first coil and the second coil, and partially overlaps at least parts of the first coil and the second coil; and a control unit which detects a standard regulation applied to the receiving apparatus and determines the coil to be driven among the first coil, the second coil, and the third coil using the standard regulation.
