<p>The invention concerns a method for the racemisation of la L-lysine that can be used to continuously obtain an aqueous solution containing 30-35% by weight of D, L-lysine. The method involves mixing an L-lysine powder in glacial acetic acid and heating to 100°C in the presence of a catalytic quantity of acetyl-salicylaldehyde; evaporating the acetic acid until an oily residue is obtained, which is diluted in water and subjected to liquid-liquid extraction by means of a solvent, selecting the aqueous phase obtained and passing it through an ion exchange resin. The invention also concerns a use of the obtained D, L-lysine solution as a raw material for a method for continuously preparing an O-acetylsalicylic acid salt of D, L-lysine. The invention finally concerns a facility for continuously implementing the method according to the invention.</p> |
