The present invention relates to a method for surveying a mine reference point for a vertical shaft tunnel by which the mine reference point can be surveyed conveniently and accurately. The present invention includes an upper reference point surveying step for surveying an upper reference point (P1) in an upper portion of a vertical shaft; a tunnel weight arrangement step for hanging a weight (2) after lowering a wire (1) to a lower portion of the upper reference point (P1); and a surveying step for surveying a mine reference point (P2) while arranging a position display device (C) provided with a position display mechanism (380) capable of adjusting an XY plane position in an upper portion in a lower portion of the weight (2) and adjusting the XY plane position of the position display mechanism (380) so that the position display mechanism (380) is positioned at a position perpendicular to the upper reference point (P2). According to the present invention, the mine reference point (P2) can be accurately surveyed during tunnel construction and surveying in the tunnel can be performed with precision.
