<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foodstuff cutter which enables anyone to slice a ring-shaped or disk-like foodstuff such as a doughnut or a bagel into halves easily, accurately, and quickly irrespective of skill of an operator.SOLUTION: A foodstuff cutter in the invention includes a feeding port 3 for feeding a doughnut, inclined plates 8a, 8b and guide plates 19a, 19b for guiding the doughnut that has been fed, and rotary blades 22b, 23b for slicing the doughnut that has been guided into halves in a thickness direction. In addition, a link mechanism operates to make an inclination angle of the inclined plates 8a, 8b larger by the own weight of the doughnut, and to make the guide plates 19a, 19b conform to a thickness of the doughnut and respectively move by an equal distance from a center of a gap between the guide plates 19a, 19b. When the doughnut is fed from the feeding port 3, the doughnut is guided by the inclined plates 8a, 8b and the guide plates 19a, 19b and drops on a pallet 4 in a state of being sliced into halves in the thickness direction.</p> |
