<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot melt adhesive coating applicator and a hot melt adhesive coating method in which even if a transport speed of a material to be coated is changed, variation of an amount of coating of a hot melt adhesive can be suppressed.SOLUTION: In a hot melt adhesive coating applicator, an adhering roll 14 and a clearance formation member 12 are disposed with a clearance 13 therebetween. A molten hot melt adhesive 4 is reserved above the clearance 13. A hot melt adhesive 5a, which passes the clearance 13 and is adhered to the adhering roll 14, is applied onto a pattern roll 16, and thereafter, the adhesive 5a is transferred to a material 72 to be coated. The clearance formation member 12 is moved in a direction, along which the member 12 approaches the adhering roll 14 and is separated from the roll 14, according to a revolution speed of the adhering roll 14, whereby the clearance 13 is changed.</p> |
