摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lithium metal oxide powder to use as a cathode material for a rechargeable battery.SOLUTION: The lithium metal oxide powder has a conductivity of less than 10S/cm when compacted under a pressure of 63.7 MPa at 25°C, and has a reversible electrode capacity of at least 180 mAh/g when used as an active material in a cathode which is cycled between 3.0 and 4.5 V vs. Li+/Li at a discharge rate of 0.1 C at 25°C. The lithium metal oxide powder has a conductivity of less than 10S/cm when compacted under the pressure of 63.7 MPa at 25°C, and has a reversible electrode capacity of at least 200 mAh/g and an energy loss rate under 60% when used as an active material in a cathode which is cycled between 3.0 and 4.6 V vs. Li/Li at a discharge rate of 0.5 C at 25°C.
