DIRECT CONVERSION RECEIVER AND CONTROL METHOD FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent receiving sensitivity from being deteriorated.SOLUTION: A direct conversion receiver includes: a mixer for down-converting an input signal to a DC level; an AD conversion unit for converting the down-converted input signal from an analog signal to a digital signal; a measurement unit for measuring a DC offset of the input signal outputted from the AD conversion unit; a self-polling control unit for making the measurement unit intermittently measure the DC offset; a storage unit for storing offsets corresponding to two or more measurements by the measurement unit; an operation unit for subtracting a stored DC offset measured at or before the last measurement from an output of the AD conversion unit; and a data demodulation unit for demodulating the data outputted from the operation unit.
