PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable contact member and a switching device which achieve miniaturization and reduce a stress amplitude at a cutout to achieve life extension. SOLUTION: The movable contact member comprises a bulging part 25 which bulges like a dome and is capable of reverse operation, and a skirt part 26 continuously expanding from an outer peripheral edge of the bulging part 25 outward in a radial direction. In the skirt part 26, a pair of cutouts 27 into which two portions facing each other thereof have been cut out is formed.
