<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for estimating ground surface roughness using density analysis and the number of buildings. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus for estimating ground surface roughness includes: an information acquisition unit which divides a target area into a plurality of areas, and acquires information on buildings within each area; a building density determination unit which determines building density of the target area based on the number of buildings in each area; and a ground surface roughness estimation unit which estimates ground surface roughness of an area corresponding to a part or the whole of the target area based on the building density and the number of buildings in each area.</p> |
