Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for preventing a misoperation on a touchscreen equipped mobile device. The present invention relates to the field of mobile communications. The method comprises: setting a screen of a mobile device to a misoperation area and an abnormal operation area; when the misoperation area is triggered, the mobile device detecting a subsequent trigger event within a preset time; if the mobile device detects a subsequent trigger event within the preset time, the mobile device performing corresponding processing according to the subsequent trigger event; and if the mobile device does not detect a subsequent trigger event within the preset time, the mobile device temporarily hiding the misoperation area, and displaying the misoperation area when the misoperation area is triggered again. The present invention can effectively prevent a misoperation caused by a user finger and/or palm on a screen edge part when a large screen equipped mobile device uses a narrow-side design, improve the usability of the mobile device, and have desirable user experience. |
