A liquid-level detection device for detecting the liquid level (91) height of a liquid stored in a container (90) is equipped with: a rotating body (50) for rotating according to the liquid level; a fixed body (20) having a main part (33) fixed to the container, and a support part (32) for rotatably supporting the rotating body and projecting from the main part in the axial direction (AD) extending along the rotational axis of the rotating body; a pair of magnetic parts (51) for producing magnetic flux (mf) which passes through the support part, and held by the rotating body in positions which sandwich the rotational axis; and a detection unit (70) which has an element part (71) positioned inside the support part, and which outputs detection results according to the density of the magnetic flux passing through the element part. The rotating body forms an exposed surface (82) exposed to the inside of the container and positioned on the outside of the support part and each magnetic part in the axial direction. Upright walls (83, 283) are provided on the exposed surface and extend upright toward the outside in the axial direction from the exposed surface, between two projection regions (56, 256, 57) projecting each magnetic part to the outside in the axial direction. |
