PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a processing processor which adopts Harvard architecture cannot store an instruction in an instruction cache without fetching the instruction. SOLUTION: A processor includes first storage means of temporarily storing an instruction; second storage means of temporarily storing an instruction and data; transfer means of transferring the instruction temporarily stored in the second storage means to the first storage means; and control means of performing first control for reading the instruction stored in third storage means in the second storage means and second control for making the transfer means transfer the instruction read in the second recording means to the first storage means. Through this configuration, the instruction is temporarily read in a data cache and then transferred to be stored in the instruction cache without any instruction fetch.
