PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce waiting time at the time of data transfer. SOLUTION: In a data transfer unit 20, a split size calculation part 21 calculates a split size Bsa of a buffer 12a and a split size Bsb of a buffer 12b based on a mutually-referenced data accumulation volume of the other buffer. For example, the split size calculation part 21 predicts data accumulation time in which a data volume equal to or greater than a threshold Bib is accumulated in the buffer 12b, based on a data accumulation volume Dsb of the buffer 12b, and calculates the split size Bsa of data to be transferred from the buffer 12a, according to the data accumulation time. Split transfer control parts 23a and 23b issue transfer instructions Tba and Tbb to the buffers 12a and 12b, respectively, according to the split sizes Bsa and Bsb and data accumulation volumes Dsa and Dsb. A transfer control part 25 transfers the data to a device 14 from each of the buffers 12a and 12b according to the transfer instructions Tbs (transfer instructions Tba and Tbb).
