<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize discharge of a liquid substance from a refill container in an easier way when refilling a liquid substance from a refill container to a main container. <P>SOLUTION: A refilling method for discharging liquid A stored in the refilling container 40A into the body 11 of the main container 10 that has an upward mouth 12, main container body 11 storing liquid A and supporting itself, and a lid 20A for closing the mouth 12 so that it is freely opened/closed. In this case, as a refill container, a self-supporting refill container 40A is used, the container having at the top of the refill container body 41 a discharging nozzle 48 the leading end of which is obliquely cut. The discharging nozzle 48 of the refill container 40A is inserted into the mouth 12 of the main container body 11.
