The invention provides a tooth type mold detection device and a tooth type mold detection method applying the device. The tooth type mold detection device can correctly compare and detect two tooth type molds. The tooth type mold detection device (10) includes the components as following: a first holding seat (12A) for holding a tooth type mold (1) used for carving exercising, a second holding seat (12B) for holding a tooth type mold (1) for comparision to the tooth type mold, the tooth type molds (1) are arranged side by side, a machine seat (11) for bearing the first holding seat (12A) and the second holding seat (12B), a rotation adjustment mechanism (13) arranged on the machine seat (11) for rotating the first holding seat (12A) and the second holding seat (12B) at the same direction, and an inclination adjustment mechanism (14) for inclining the first holding seat (12A) and the second holding seat (12B) together. |
