<p>A sponsorship system and method are disclosed. The system comprises an electronic data processing means containing sponsorship opportunity information. The data processing means is adapted to determine the suitability of the one or more potential sponsors to a sponsorship opportunity; an electronic interface adapted to allow one or more suitable potential sponsors to access the sponsorship opportunity information via one or more remote computers and make offers to purchase a sponsorship opportunity. The electronic interface also prevents undesirable or unwanted potential sponsors from gaining access to the sponsorship opportunity information. The data processing means is further adapted to generate an electronic sponsorship agreement based on information in the electronic database and/or information entered into the electronic interface by the one or more suitable potential sponsors once the offer to purchase a sponsorship opportunity is accepted.</p> |
