The absorber (1) has an absorbing element (3) absorbing a crash of a vehicle in energy consumption due to deformation and/or friction, where the absorbing element is directly or indirectly supported by a dynamic cushion device (2). The cushion device has a rotatably held support element (5) and an attachment unit (6) that is rotatably connected with the support element, where the attachment unit is in direct or indirect contact with the absorbing element.
