<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly usable input interface.SOLUTION: A terminal device includes an operation reception section, a display control section, a region setting section and an input decision section. The operation reception section receives an operation specifying an arbitrary position from a user. The display control section displays a plurality of input candidates that are candidates for a character to be input by the user around the position received by the operation reception section. The region setting section sets reception regions for receiving the specification of the input candidates, respectively, such that at least one of the reception regions has a greater circumferential width than the others. When any one of the reception regions is specified by the user, the input decision section decides the input candidate corresponding to the specified reception region as an input character.</p> |
