Disclosed is a method for implementing multimedia customized RBT (MRBT) service, including: receiving a call request sent from a calling terminal; determining the calling terminal's calling capability based on the call request; and selecting an MRBT playing manner based on the calling capability. According to the invention, for a more capable terminal, problems such as data loss and communication delay, may be avoided, and for a less capable terminal, problems such as failure in playing MRBT and customized RT (MRT) data, may be solved. Also disclosed are an apparatus for implementing MRBT service, and a method and an apparatus for implementing MRT service. |
