The present invention relates to a vane rotary compressor which compresses fluids such as refrigerant by decreasing the volume of a compression chamber when a rotor rotates. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the top end part of a vane and the inner circumferential surface of a cylinder are consecutively contacted when the rotor rotates since the top end part of a vane is compressed by the back pressure of an oil storage chamber toward the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder.
