<p>The present invention relates to a multi-functional robot apparatus for common use corresponding to various types of vehicles. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the multi-functional robot apparatus for common use in correspondence to various vehicle types formed to be commonly used in a process of assembling car bodies corresponding to various vehicle types, and usefully used to manufacture vehicle′s of mixed models. The multi-functional robot device comprises: a robot; a frame attached to an arm of the robot; a plurality of sliders assembled on the frame to be able to slide in a predetermined direction; a transferring device transferring the positions of the sliders to target positions on the frame to control the positions of the sliders in accordance to a control signal of a control panel; and a common unit which includes components of a spot welder such as an upper welding gun and a lower welding gun mounted on each slider whose position on the frame is controlled. The common unit performs function to spot-weld car body parts by applying pressure and electricity to the upper welding gun and the lower welding gun, and functions as a gripper to hold the car parts on a position, as the upper and lower welding guns pressurizes and fixes the car parts.</p> |
