According to an embodiment of the present invention, a vacuum cleaner, wherein a main vacuum cleaner body is first rotated separately from a wheel assembly when changing a direction and a wheel assembly direction is changed in accordance to the direction toward which the main vacuum cleaner body is moving to smoothly change the driving direction of the main vacuum cleaner body, and provided is a center mass located on the back of the wheel to improve the main vacuum cleaner body the ability to move forward by the wheel assembly. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the vacuum cleaner includes: a main body including a fan motor generating suction force; a suction unit connected to the main body coming in contact with a surface to be cleaned to suck in foreign substance on the surface to be cleaned; a cyclone dust collector detachably mounted on the main body, and separating and collecting dust from the air sucked in by the suction unit; and a wheel assembly to move the main body, wherein the wheel assembly includes frames disposed on the upper portion and both left and right side portions of the main body; and wheels mounted on each of the frames disposed on both left and right side portions to be rotatable, and the wheels having negative camber angles.
