PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques for managing battery power of a mobile device.SOLUTION: Battery power is reserved for an application prior to execution of the application on a mobile device. The reservation ensures that the application has sufficient battery power for execution. Battery power is allocated to applications on the basis of priorities of the applications. The applications are ordered based on their priorities, and available battery power for the mobile device is allocated to one application at a time, starting with the highest priority application. Battery power is allocated to applications on the basis of a battery discharge curve for the mobile device. |
