<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that can suppress the occurrence of streak-like unevenness in image quality due to density unevenness in the axial direction of a layer of magnetic developer formed of two conveying bodies after the delivery of the magnetic developer.SOLUTION: A developing device includes: a first conveying body; a second conveying body; a regulating member that regulates the passage of a magnetic developer supplied to one of the first developing body or the second developing body; delivery magnetic poles having different polarities that form a delivery path for the magnetic developer between the first conveying body and second conveying body through which the magnetic developer is delivered by the lines of magnetic force; and a first adjustment member that is arranged between the first conveying body and second conveying body, and is formed into a shape in which an end to be present on the opposite side to a latent image holding body is present in a bristle group formed along a delivery path formed by the delivery magnetic poles beyond the position where the two conveying bodies come closest to each other, and ends opposing to each other with gaps between the first conveying body and second conveying body are present to fill half or more of the area of the gaps at the position where the two conveying bodies come closest to each other.</p> |
