Provided is a battery case that is advantageous in improving durability of cables or connectors that are installed inside and outside of the battery case. When a structure such as an engine (14) or a fuel tank (16) installed next to the battery case (40) is displaced toward a tray (50) in the event of a collision of an electric car (10), both a short-side outer rim (5602) and a short-side sidewall (5802) come into contact with the structure. Thus, a triangular space (S) is secured between the structure and the tray (50). Consequently, an excessive force from the structure can be prevented from acting on the cable or the connectors, which is advantageous in improving durability of the cables and the connectors. |
