PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film which is suitable for a protection material of the backside of a solar battery and achieves both of good hydrolysis resistance, and good cost effectiveness.SOLUTION: A polyester film for solar battery backside sealing comprises a recovered polyester. The polyester film has an intrinsic viscosity (IV) of 0.62-0.73 dl/g, and 26 equivalent/t or less of terminal carboxyl groups (AV). In regard to the polyester film, the crystal layer thickness (L) obtained by wide angle X-ray diffraction is 7.0 nm or less. |
