Disclosed are a curved display device and a method for manufacturing the same. According to the present invention, the method for manufacturing the curved display device comprises: a step of fabricating a panel including a plastic substrate and divided into a display region and a non-display region; a step of attaching a photo-reactive film to the panel; a step of projecting light on the panel equipped with the photo-reactive film; and a step of forming the panel, which is equipped with the photo-reactive film and on which the light is projected, into a curved panel. As a result, the present invention enables the shape of the curved display device to be changed using light of a specific wavelength, and to be restored to its initial shape using light of a different wavelength. In addition, the present invention provides a curved surface property through the film attachment and light projection processes, thereby facilitating a manufacturing process and enabling the curved display device to be designed in various shapes through a physical process using bending equipment. |
