PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide a flexible light emitting device which has a long life, and to provide an inexpensive electronic apparatus which uses the flexible light emitting device and has a long life.SOLUTION: A flexible light emitting device includes: a substrate having flexibility and visible light transmissivity; a first adhesive layer provided on the substrate; an insulation film which is positioned on the first adhesive layer and includes nitrogen and silicon; a light emitting element including a first electrode, a second electrode facing the first electrode, and an EL layer provided between the first electrode and the second electrode; a second adhesive layer formed on the second electrode; and a metal substrate provided on the second adhesive layer. A thickness of the metal substrate ranges from 10 μm to 200 μm. The flexible light emitting device and an electronic apparatus using the flexible light emitting device are provided to achieve the above object.
