METHOD, DEVICE, AND SYSTEM FOR NETWORK HANDOVER

Disclosed is a method for network handover. When a request message requesting for circuit-switched fallback (CSFB) is initiated by a UE located in an LTE network, an MME instructs an eNB to move the UE from the LTE network to a 2G or 3G network, and requests an MSC to hand over the UE from the LTE network to a CS domain of the 2G or 3G network. While at the same time, an SGSN is request to initiate a handover from the LTE network to a packet-switched (PS) domain of the 2G or 3G network. The MME transmits to the eNB a handover request response message, where the handover request response message comprises an RAB of the PS domain, thus allowing the RAB of the PS domain in being transmitted by the eNB to the UE. This allows the UE to be handed over to the PS domain of the 2G or 3G network by means of being handed over to a CS domain of the 2G or 3G network. When handed over to the PS domain, the UE is allowed to make a CS domain call, thus allowing for reduced length of a voice call.
