The present invention relates to a motor control method of an indirect-cooling type refrigerator, which is capable of controlling the cooling fan motors of multiple indirect-cooling type storage rooms in the refrigerator to be sequentially operated when the storage rooms are required to receive cold air. According to the present invention, a motor control method of an indirect-cooling type refrigerator is capable of reducing power consumption and preventing an increase in the load amount of a switching mode power supply (SMPS) by comprising: a step of allowing a control part to determine whether the start conditions of cooling fan motors are satisfied or not; and a step of allowing the control part to alternately, respectively, and sequentially start at least one of cooling fan motors every predetermined time in a predetermined order when the start conditions of the cooling fan motors are determined to be satisfied.
