<p>[PROBLEMS] To provide an active energy ray-curable composition for optical purposes which comprises a compound derived from an epoxy resin having a specific structure. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Disclosed is an active energy ray-curable composition for optical purposes, which comprises: an epoxy carboxylate compound (A) produced by reacting an epoxy resin (a) represented by the general formula (1) with a compound (b) having both an ethylenically unsaturated group and a carboxyl group in the molecule, or a polycarboxylic acid compound (B) produced by reacting a hydroxyl group in the epoxy carboxylate compound (A) with a polybasic acid anhydride (c); and a reactive compound (C) which shows a curing reactivity upon being irradiated with an active energy ray. The composition can be used for the production of a high refractive index resin. (1) wherein R1's independently represent a halogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; m represents an integer of 0 to 4; and n represents a positive integer of 1 to 6 on average.</p> |
