PURPOSE:To permit a spool to return to a central position quickly when excitation of a pulse motor is cut off, by using a 5 phase pulse motor as a drive source, and a compressing force transmitting member and a pulling force transmitting member as power transmitting means. CONSTITUTION:An eccentric boss 7 and a cam plate 9 have a function as a conversion apparatus for converting rotation of shaft 5a caused by a 5 phase pulse motor 5 to linear motion in a direction of an axial center line. Return springs15a, 15b are assembled into opposite sides of a spool 1 which receives power transmission due to a linear motion of a cam plate 9 produced by a rod 10 as a pressure transmitting member and a music wire 13 as a pulling force transmitting member. As a result, the spool 1 returns to a central position in a body 2 when the excitation of the 5 phase pulse motor is cut off.
