PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid container which substantially reduces a manufacturing cost while having sufficient strength and safety.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a liquid container includes the procedures of: creating a body member 2 constituted of a substantially cylindrical steel sheet which integrates an upper protector 21 for protecting an upper part of a container, a lower protector 22 for protecting a lower part of the container, and a side wall part of a container body; creating an upper mirror 3 constituted of a steel sheet including a mouth piece 31 for filling and taking out liquid being the contents; creating a lower mirror 4 constituted of a steel sheet provided with a liquid reservoir part 41 for the liquid being the contents; fastening the upper mirror by arranging it on an inner peripheral side of the body member and welding the whole circumference of a joint part; forming an inactive coat on a container inner surface side of the body member and the upper mirror; forming an inactive coat on a container inner surface side of the lower mirror; and arranging the lower mirror on a lower end part of the body member in order to join the body member and the lower mirror.
